introduction
Welcome to the Strasburg High School Teen Council Blog. The Council is open to all students at Strasburg High School who are interested in reading for fun and talking about books. The group will be broken down into smaller groups, each with a student leader in order to give everyone an opportunity to talk about what they have been reading. Reviews are completed for each book read. Mrs. Stout, the SHS library assistant, will add each review to the TC Shelfari site that currently has 335 reviews. At the end of the year students will vote on their favorite books. Each year, the favorites are added to the TC Pick list and a sticker is added to the book designating it as a TC Pick. Students also take part in community service projects. Currently we are collecting 120 boxes of cereal for the local food bank.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join an organization that promotes reading for fun and helps the community. Stop by for details!
